“Biggest form of baggage: Two common Beliefs (resulting in unhappiness and disease-enabling).

1) ‘This is bad for me’ and 2) ‘I can’t handle this.’

“Result: Feeling stressed or depressed. Decreased immune function/elevated cytokine levels.

“Followed by: Increased tissue inflammation and susceptibility to infections and tumors. (Don’t panic – information is useful, very useful).

“UNHAPPY = UNHEALTHY

“ALTERNATIVE: New Belief: 1) ‘This is good for me’ (something to learn, an invitation to grow) and 2) ‘I can handle this.’

“Result: Feeling relaxed or happy, healthy immune function, healthier tissues, increase defense against infections and tumors.

“HAPPY = HEALTHIER”
